Folkwoods staat bij de paarduizend bezoekers uit heel Nederland en België (en soms van verder…) bekend als een vooruitstrevend, ontdekkend(inspirerend), sfeervol, luxe festival, met dranken uit glas, eten van gewoon servies, voldoende zitgelegenheid (voor die niet wil dansen….) en een luxe camping met (gratis) sanitair, warme douches, volledige toegankelijkheid voor rolstoelgebruikers (ook het sanitair!) campingwinkel en ontbijtservice, gratis Eindhovens Dagblad etc.
