Chanter's Tune

Na Filí :: "Chanter's Tune" (1977)
This LP is a flea market find and is in reasonable condition. The sleeve states the guys have been presenting traditional Irish acoustic music for nearly a decade. So they must have started about 1968... Maybe they're still playing in some old folks home by now... I guess this gem was never issued on CD, nor much of their other work b.t.w. The pipes are not in the foreground here, maybe this record could be best described as early Chieftainish. Be prepared for some jigs, reels, airs and the odd song....
